Sling TV launches for Android TV, Android and other apps

Sling TV which is among the biggest TV competitors of YouTube has announced recently that it will be bringing the free content to its apps on Android TV and Android.

Beginning today, the users of Android TV and Android can download the app of Sling TV for accessing a collection of content which is completely free. This content includes the free episodes of a few TV shows including 3rd rock from the Sun, Hell’s Kitchen, The Illusionist and others.

Although the array of content is limited there is no information of any credit card needed at all to set up the free content and when the time arrives the users may opt for subscription by the setting up the account. Sting has been available on Android TV and Android through play store.

As for the free experience of Sling on Roku, if the user has an Android Mobile, Android Fire TV, Android TV or the Amazon Fire tablet, the user will be able to experience Sling TV and watch free shows without them entering the information of credit card.

In order to launch the free experience of Sling TV, the user must simply download the app of Sling TV on a device of Roku, Amazon and Android and then follow the instructions for accessing the guest mode.

Once the user is in guest mode they can access free content from the screen option of My TV and then access free episodes of the TV shows like Police Patrol, Live PD and the movies like Bad Lieutenant, Part of Call New Orleans for free without signing up for an account.

The users can sign up for an account and also purchase more pay-per-view movies and events.
