The new system comprises a unique substance—a low-priced polymer/aluminum film—that is fitted within a box at the specifically designed solar “shelter’s” bottom. The film assists in maintaining its environs cool by taking up heat from the air within the box and transferring that energy into outer space via the atmosphere of the Earth.
