DELFI*, Schlumberger’s cloud-based cognitive E&P environment, has been deployed at ConocoPhillips, the oil and gas company. In order to move its reservoir engineering modelling, data, and processes to the cloud, Schlumberger will leverage DELFI-enabled digital solutions.
Reservoir engineers throughout the world will benefit from this digital platform according to Schlumberger’s president of digital and integration, Rajeev Sonthalia, who says it will improve workflow and data efficiency. ConocoPhillips’ reservoir engineering modelling and procedures will be integrated with our cloud-based digital solutions and artificial intelligence.”
DELFI’s cloud-based, high-performance computing resources and Schlumberger’s reservoir engineering solutions will be available to ConocoPhillips reservoir engineers upon completion of the integration. This includes Petrel E&P software platform’s Petrel Reservoir Engineering, INTERSECT* high-resolution reservoir simulator, and ECLIPSE* industry-reference reservoir simulator.
